Jeremy joined Hornabrook Macdonald Lawyers in 2025, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in commercial property law gained from over a decade of practice at leading New Zealand firms. Jeremy is a highly regarded specialist in large-scale land development and complex property transactions, with particular strength in both residential and commercial projects.

Jeremy acts for a range of domestic and international clients, including institutional investors, major property developers, and corporate owner/occupiers. He is known for his commercially attuned advice and pragmatic approach, guiding clients through the acquisition, development, leasing and divestment of strategic property assets.

Prior to joining us, Jeremy was a Senior Associate in the commercial real estate team at a top-tier national firm, where he advised on some of the country’s most high-profile property transactions.

Jeremy’s deep understanding of the New Zealand property market, coupled with his experience advising on high-value and technically demanding projects, ensures clients receive strategic and reliable guidance on every transaction.

• Advising listed entities on the development of large-scale residential and commercial projects
• Acting on one of New Zealand’s most significant real estate acquisitions involving a major national portfolio
• Providing strategic property advice on the development of a major mixed-use precinct in the upper North Island
• Assisting a national operator in the energy sector with the management of its leasing portfolio
• Supporting a large agri-business with various property matters across its national operations, including development, acquisitions and disposals and leasing matters
